Sea World

We were able to walk from our hotel over to Sea World.  We got there right when it opened bc they were saying rain for the afternoon.  Luckily the rain held off until we were able to see most of the park.  We had to cut it short but we were pretty spent by the end anyways.

Back to Orlando

The next day we had a down day so we took our time getting back to Orlando.  We went mini golfing at a place with baby alligators!  Ate lunch by the ocean and got to our hotel in Orlando.  It was like it's own little resort.  Had 4 or 5 pools, many hot tubs, tennis courts, movie theater, kids playground, etc.  We went swimming and enjoyed free happy hour (well Kris got double the drinks) while PK played on the playground.

Kennedy Space Center

Kennedy Space Center was on my "to see" list while we were down there.  It was so cool to see and I'm glad that we took the time to go.  We probably only saw 3/4 of it but between the toddler and pregnant lady we were spent.

Day 2 & 3

Very similar to Day 1.  Traveled from Nashville to Orlando.  60 degrees + when we got there.

From Orlando we traveled out to Cocoa Beach.  Ate lunch by the port on our way out, stopped and washed the filthy car and hit up the beach after we checked in!  Just what we all needed.  Sunshine and vitamin D!

We brought home lots of seashells and had to sort out or favorites from the huge pile that he had found.

Florida Vacation - Day 1!

Back in September or October I sent Kris a text with dates that I had blocked off on my calendar at work.  I was going on vacation with or without him.  His choice!  PK needed a vacation since he worked all summer at the rental house :)  We decided that we were going to drive to Florida.  The weather wasn't perfect but it was soo nice to get out of dodge and break up the winter!

PK was a trooper.  The DVD player was a life saver.  We wouldn't have made it without it.  For some reason it didn't make him sleepy either... There were only a few "emergency" roadside stops to go potty.  

We made it just outside of Nashville the first day.  Left at 5AM and got to Nashville about 4pm.  We celebrated our anniversary that night in our traveling clothes ;)
