We made our 2nd trip to the ER a few weeks ago. PK got taken out at daycare playing Ring Around the Rosy. His ankle got twisted and he fell on it. Right at 5 o'clock; about fifteen minutes before I got there. So it was a little crazy when I arrived.... He refused to walk on it and fell every time he tried. So after supper off we went. Decided we would go straight to ER this time since last time we waited for a couple doctors who ultimately sent us to the ER. We got there about 6:30-7. Waited for xrays. Had them done about 8, told us someone would be in with results. So we waited, and waited, and waited. Doctor came in to check it out; said she would be back after results. We read these two books over and over. The wheels on the bus and the story of baby Jesus can only be told so many times before you start to go a little crazy! At 9pm a nurse finally came back and said that no one would be able to look at the xrays until the next morning. To say this mama was hot was an understatment. Nothing was broken, thankfully. He limped for a few days and still complains that it hurts, hopefully it's just out of habit now!
