Parker was supposed to be relaxing. Once again when the little guy gets free rein of his limbs he is constantly moving.
When we work on tummy time his legs just go the whole time. He will be crawling once he can hold his head up long enough!

Aunt Dani and Parker hanging out. Don't mind my decorations in the background that have yet to be hung...
My little man weighed in at six pounds today at the doc - up ten ounces since last week.
And today he fit in newborn clothes, finally not swimming in them!
Clean for about two minutes before he filled his drawers up. Lol. Lucky his diaper was back on by that point!
We went to the doc this afternoon to get checked out and have a weigh in. He weighed 5lbs 6oz. So doing well. We left the hospital at 5lbs 1/2 oz.
Just hanging out at home. Getting impatient with me. Guess he was ready to eat. Just kicking his legs as fast as they could go. Lol
Today Parker had his car seat test to see if he could handle the ride home. All went well. Looked pretty tiny in there.
Doctor also gave the go ahead to try to bottle all feedings now. We're getting closer every day :)
We get mixed reports about how long to expect to be here. The doctors make it seem like at least a week while the nurses think could be this weekend and want you to have everything ready to go home. So idk. The nurses actually see the progress day to day while the doctors just see the numbers and check marks. Either way sounds like shorter than we had anticipated from early conversations.

Parker got five full bottles down today! The doctor increased the number of times he can attempt to six today. On the sixth one he was just too tired to finish. He got all but a bit in the bottom.
Otherwise he is more and more alert every day. Love seeing those big eyes checking things out.
Its only tuesday but seems like so much longer since we've been here. Time flies during the day though with our routine. The nurses want you very hands on so are just basically here to monitor and feed or finish feeding with his tube.
Anyways, Parker had an awesome day. He got two full bottles down without any of it having to be finished by tube :) so proud. The others he just seemed too exhausted to finish. They only give him a half hour to try before using the tube. And right now every other feeding is pure feeding tube. But we are making progress!
We had a pretty good day today. His schedule is to eat every three hours and every other we try a bottle.
Today he ate quite a bit from the bottle every time we tried.
Parker was very alert today and we got lots of cuddle time in.
He does have some slight jaundice that they are monitoring but it hasn't got worse. The doctor said it should get better soon.
Today I had to be checked out but Parker has to stay. We made our move over to NICU.
He didn't make much progress today. Wasn't interested at eating from a bottle.
The doctor made it sound like we could be here awhile longer. Parker is once again proving he is in charge and we are now on his schedule.
Doctor made it a point to say how well he is doing for being early. Just has to learn to eat at his own pace.
Hanging out in NICU.
Born June 10th. 5 lbs 4 oz 19.5 inches.
Cuter than ever. Love this little man more than I could have ever imagined.
