New Red Cast

We went and got the full cast today. Doctor said to come back in four weeks. He gets along pretty well. Still a happy guy.

First Trip to the ER

Last night Kris and PK were reading books on the love seat. When Kris was done reading PK took his turn reading the stories, when he was done he threw the books over the edge then kept pointing at them. We both looked away and turned back just as he pushed off with his leg while pointing at the books and over the edge he went... :( He took a pretty bad tumble. When we sat him down he went to crawl and fell right on his face like his arm kept giving out.

This morning he wouldn't even attempt to go anywhere without screaming. We waited at the doctor for xrays to be told they couldn't do anything and we had to go to ER. So we spent the majority of the afternoon back at Blank. Turns out he fractured his right arm right above his wrist. It's in a half cast, splint now. Will go back next week for a full cast. All and all he has been one tough cookie. Only really pissed off when people were messing with him. Was a happy guy, maybe even happier than mom for as many hours as we spent waiting for doctors today.

Tonight he started a half army crawl across the room and was pulling himself up. One tough guy...

Labor Day Weekend

This weekend we were back in Audubon and then for Labor Day PK and I headed to Rockwell City to visit my grandparents. Today was their 59th wedding anniversary! Amazing :)

We had a good visit and Parker warmed up to them enough to get some cuddles in and throw some kisses. Grandpa was eating a hard candy and Parker was trying to get his fingers in there to see what he was eating without him!

Deck

About 2 on Sunday afternoon we decided that our deck needs stained before winter. We replaced a couple boards and got it power washed yesterday. Started staining tonight. Needless to say PK was not as helpful as he looks in the picture! He wanted in on the action and bawled every time he got told no or to back up... Lots of fun! :)

Weekend

Saturday while it was raining we played in the garage. He loves putting the rocks in and out of the dump truck.
