Deck Help

I tell you what.  This guy.  He pushes me to my limits.  He's at that age already where he knows everything, doesn't think he needs to listen, etc.  But he is a great help when he wants to be.  He also is dad's buddy.  Mom isn't as asked for anymore.  He cries out for Dad and misses him so much when he is gone.

In other news, the deck progress is coming along nicely.  Kris has put in some hot nights over at the rental welding.  It looks awesome, can't wait for the finished product!

Parade

My grandparents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year.  To help celebrate we had a float in the Collins parade.  When we were growing up my Grandpa always had a float for us in the parade.  We now have 4 generations represented!

Hard week at G&G's house; didn't even make it out of town!

10 Months!

At 10 months old we are finally sleeping through the night!! (I didn't think we were going to survive there for awhile!)  Chas has turned into a true ankle bitter; he will scoot himself over to you, look up and smile and bite down on your ankle!  We officially made the switch to formula and off of breastfeeding.  He handled it pretty well; we had a transition period of falling asleep on his own... He is the loudest little thing! Loves yelling (especially at the supper table).  Just started waving; basically flapping his arms! :)

New Window!

As part of our kitchen remodel I wanted a window so we could easily see the backyard.  As it was we were only able to see out the far kitchen window (above sink) and out the patio doors.  So if you were trying to see out, you had to walk around the kitchen table to see where PK was if he was back there.  The new window is so awesome!  So much more light AND I can see what is going on!

We are waiting on drywall work to be done before finishing trim work.  We had can lights put in the kitchen and an overhead light put in the toy room.  Lots of drywall work to be done.
