Great Grandma Tiny

Checking out the fish

When we were back over Labor Day weekend we made stop to see Great Grandma Tiny.  She was thrilled to have all the little ones there and show them off.

Vietnam War Memorial

Freedom Riders

Over Labor Day weekend there was a replica of the Vietnam War Memorial in Audubon.  Keith is a veteran of that war; so we got to spend some time with him up there and see a service.  It was one of those experiences where you didn't fully understand the impact until seeing the Memorial and hearing stories of those involved.  Thank you to all our Veterans.

New Doors

Helping Sweep

Had to bring his chair out to watch.

New door going in
We had bought a new patio door and new front door early this Spring. We finally got around to putting them in with the help of Kris's brother Tim.

Sandbox - Part 2

You can see his skinned nose from falling down the stairs onto the cement.  This was after the scab came off.

I just want to ride my tractor guys!

When we got the sandbox built we were able to get him to play in it for about 5 minutes. He was more interested in being outside of the sandbox and playing with the things in it. We both took turns sitting in there with him and ended up being left when he found new things to play with!

The Sandbox - Part 1

Daddy Sprinkler
"Helping"
Pretty sure he thought he was going to be able to move the large hostas we dug out...
Taking a time out to mow some weeds
Almost got him to sit down for a picture - you have to be fast!
The making of the sandbox... First we had to soak down our extremely dry yard to be able to dig the dirt out to make it level. That might have been PK's favorite part. He loved running through the water and helping dig out the plants that were out there.

60 Years!

Happy 60th Anniversary to my Grandparents!  60 years - Amazing... I can't even begin to imagine what 60 years has brought.  They show true strength, love and dedication to each other.
