12 months

Summertime

Our air is still on the fritz, it's been a long hot week. We cooled down in the pool today. Had a pretty good time. Hoping for a new air conditioner unit tomorrow!

Mega Blocks

I got this fire engine full of mega blocks for $5 at a garage sale this weekend. Already worth the $5 for the ten minutes of entertainment it provided him without whining at me :)

Supper Time Disaster

I gave him one of those baby food in a pouch things to try... He enjoyed it and enjoyed feeding himself. Tad bit messy...

Playing

Playing with his farm set and tractors. It's so cute when he plays with the tractors he makesa little "roaring" sound to go with it. Wonder who he learned that from? ;)

Adventureland

We went to Adventureland today and PK held up well. Loved walking through the little kids area and checking things out. Actually got a nap in and we were there most the day. Successful trip and we think he enjoyed it. Probably loved the most people watching and being outside.

Fathers Day

Big Boy Haircut!

I finally caved and cut his hair. It was in his eyes pretty bad. I think it took me longer to make the first cut than to cut all of it. Its not perfect but was all we could get done in the amount of time he allotted until he was done. Kris held him and distracted him with the comb and water bottle.

Trike

Checking out his new trike! He loves it!

1 year / 52 weeks!

We made it, one whole year. It flew by and was happy, tough, loving and so much more. It really is a shame that the love and happiness PK brings to our lives can't be bottled up for him to someday be able to open when he feels the world doesnt understand. I wish for him to forever feel the love surround him. I don't take for granted one squeeze or cuddle I get in because I know soon enough he's going to be running all directions and only more independent from here on out.

Moral of the story, we are truly blessed to have the little guy and learn new things every day about not only him but ourselves.

Hanging with Grandma B

Daycare is out of town so Grandma Bev came to help us out and watch Pk. She brought her trike and he's loving it!

51 weeks

This week Pk insisted on walking everywhere, with me holding his hands. Decided he no longer likes sitting. My back is killing but so glad he's finally decided he would like to go somewhere.
